In 2005, Central State fielded a football team for the first time since 1996. The team used maroon helmets with two yellow stripes, and the team name "Marauders" in an arched, script font, also yellow, on the sides of the helmet. I would appreciate a copy of the helmet decal so that I may add this one to the web site (it has been reported to me that the decal has since been modified somewhat by the addition of an underline beneath "Marauders"). Below is a photograph of the team's 2005 helmet design:

Missouri-Rolla used black helmets during the early 1960s but had apparently switched to yellow helmet shells by at least 1967. The team was using white helmets during the early 1970s.
