This is a new conference composed of four teams from Illinois and four from Wisconsin which will compete for the first league title in 2008.

Benedictine was using a new helmet design in 2004, shown in the photo below. The logo is an eagle's head inside an oval shape. I would appreciate a copy of the helmet logo so that I may add this historical helmet design to the web site.

I believe that the "R" decals on the first two helmets shown above may have been worn only on the right sides of the helmets, with the left sides left "blank", making these representations technically incorrect. 2000 was the first year for Rockford's football program.
By at least the 2003 game against Minnesota-Morris, the team had switched to plain purple helmets. I believe that it is possible that another design or two may have been used also in 2003. A preseason photograph of the team showed a purple helmet with the school name in white letters on the sides, but I do not know if this logo was ever in use during an actual game. Additional information would be appreciated. I suspect that the team has made several mid-season changes during its short history.
