Comments
There will be three new teams in this conference in 2008: C.W.Post, Gannon, and Mercyhurst. Shippensburg has been moved from the Western Division to the Eastern to balance the conference with eight teams in each division.
Edinboro, Kutztown, Indiana, Lock Haven, and Gannon were using new helmet designs for the 2007 season (shown above).
I have received very little information about historical helmets for these teams - any information for helmet designs used since 1960 would be appreciated.

During at least the 2001 season, Cheyney apparently used a helmet logo that was very similar to the one shown on the first helmet above, but with a white "CU" added to the logo.
I received a report prior to the start of the 2005 season indicating that Cheyney would be using a "C" logo that year, similar to the one used by Connecticut, but no photographs were ever provided showing such a decal, and the only photograph that I ever saw from the 2005 season showed the team using "plain" helmets.
*1 The team used plain blue helmets during at least one game of the 2004 season (vs. Lock Haven) and at least one game in 2005 (vs. Bloomsburg).

The helmet design in use during at least the 1990 and 1991 seasons has been described to me as consisting of a burgundy shell with a white faceguard, and with the team name "Scots" on the sides in a cursive style; but a contradictory report indicated that the helmets used from 1989 through 1992 were "cardinal" in color, with "Scots" in "block"-style letters. No photographs were provided to accompany either of these reports.
